EastRise Credit Union is headquartered in Williston and is the largest credit union in the state of Vermont. It is also the 154th largest credit union in the nation. It was established in 1961 and as of December of 2024, it had grown to 436 employees and 170,345 members at 18 locations. EastRise Credit Union's money market rates are 11X the national average, and it has an A health rating.

Field of Membership Restrictions

Membership in EastRise Credit Union is open to all U.S. citizens and resident aliens through membership in the American Consumer Council. Employees of several Select Employer Groups (including the State of Vermont and all Vermont State Colleges) are also eligible to join. Current members of the Vermont General Assembly, Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, Washington Electric Cooperative, or Financial Fitness Association also qualify for membership. Immediate family or household members of a current member are welcome to apply.
