ESL Federal Credit Union is headquartered in Rochester and is the 4th largest credit union in the state of New York. It is also the 29th largest credit union in the nation. It was established in 1995 and as of March of 2025, it had grown to 930 employees and 457,370 members at 25 locations. Field of Membership Restrictions

ESL Federal Credit Union is open to anyone who lives in the New York counties of Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, or Yates through a complimentary membership in the George Eastman Museum.

ESL is a great credit union that is constantly adapting to keep up with the latest banking technologies.

I filled a report due to being scammed. I had tons of proof verifying the company along with emails. ESL denied my claim. I was ripped off 250 dollars...I've been a customer for years and have never filed a single claim. I disagree when reviews claim they're for the people. I recommend finding a bank that will fight for your security and stand by their guarantee to protect your account up to a certain amount.
