This is a small local bank that I was banking with many years ago! I cannot put a rating for online or mobile banking because they did not have it back then! I loved this bank. Being a small bank they knew who I was and was so friendly. It was about a mile from my home. Once I had them call me and tell me that they had refused to cash a check from me that a couple of guys had brought to them and the guys left angry. They were right! These persons were not supposed to cash this check until some work had been done. The work never got done so the bank saved me 300.00. Great bank with much more personal service! Later I went to Wells Fargo when I moved and never had the same experience as I had with the smaller local bank!
I Love This Bank!
I feel like royalty at Farmers & Merchants Bank. When I first opened my account Dannella called several times to make sure I was able to access online banking, etc. She also followed up when I did have a problem. She still will personally call me just to make sure I am happy and if I had any cares or concerns. Unbelievable, service of this standard is unheard of these days. I have been to several branches with the same, almost over helpful, results. I will never change banks. Thank you F&M Bank, you' the best!
Great Customer Service
I was quite happy with my experience at this bank. After a long day at work, I needed to go and make some transactions within my accounts. After rushing over to the bank, I got inside before it closed. Typically, at the end of a day, customer service workers and tellers are a bit impatient. However, my teller was quite helpful and attentive with my banking needs. He quickly assessed what I needed, and was able to provide me with advice for my transactions. I felt very welcomed, even though it was the end of the day, and I appreciated the great service. After working through my transactions, the teller thanked me for my time and asked if I needed anything else. I did not need anything else and was walked to the front door by my teller. This was a great act of customer service, and I greatly appreciate my time at the bank.

Farmers and Merchants bank is a bank that provides outstanding customer service. They have been doing business all across California for more than 100 years. They have 23 branches across Southern California to help you with all your banking needs. They offer very competitive CD's, with a yield of 1.46. They offer both individual as well as business accounts. I have a checking account with them fir the last 10 years. Every time I go in to the bank the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. It is nice to know that they give you the convenience of online services and yet if you need to go to the bank the staff is always helpful. It reminds me of how the banks used to be. They are very focused on the customer.
