There's a lot of institutes around my time that has big names but my first bank, First National Bank of Omaha, is on par with every single one of them with no issues to date. First National Bank of Omaha is the first bank that I've had opening my account back when I was in high school that's given me the ability to open a checking, savings account at no cost and with no hassle at all. The online banking experience is excellent with statements easily readable, accessible and all of their services listed on their website in case I were to ever need any sort of additional features that most seek out of a banking institute. (Such as Loans, credit cards, etc.) Overall it's one of the most pleasurable experiences I've had dealing with small institutes and, if you're ever in a similar area as I am, do not hesitate on giving them a shot at showing you how banking should be done with ease.
I would have to commend First National Bank of Omaha for being an amazing bank. They're not a national bank but local to the Omaha market. There's something to be said about banking locally, they actually care about the community.
First National Bank of Omaha has a 24 hour customer service telephone number, they're always able to answer any questions you may have. They also have a absolutely free checking program that includes free checks for life. They are very innovative in technology, they have an app that allows for iPhone thumbprint login. They also have the ability to use Apple Pay with your debit card.
When it comes to customer service they actually care more about the customer then about charging additional fees. They actually allow for one overdraft forget this per year in addition to free cashiers checks. The bank also has other services for free that most banks charge for such as currency exchange and free ATM usage with other banks ATMs.
I would recommend First National Bank of Omaha to anyone for their banking needs.
I have a checking account with First National in Kansas City. They were so helpful in getting me set with my Checking and Savings account. They were able to get me set up quickly, and made me aware of the other options that were available for me to use. Instead of just signing me up for the free checking account they informed me about a checking/savings account that would allow me to earn interest on my savings. This was very helpful! Also, they informed me that by using this particular account type i was able to use other banks ATM's without fear of being charged outrageous fees. Overall, this bank has been very helpful and i prefer to use this bank always. Also, their new mobile APP is great. They updated it so i only need a PIN to log into the APP and access my account. This is great because i am notorious at forgetting my passwords. Thanks First National.
I just felt compelled to write a review, since I have never had a positive experience at First National in Lincoln. My friends say the same. I always go to the South Point location, while in Lincoln.
Again, I went in with a smile and light hearted conversation, and met with snide remarks. Everyone listening, nobody tells their co-worker to cool it; shape up.
When I opened the account, I lived in Beatrice, where they were always kind, informative, and offered some light conversation. The professionalism was outstanding. I recently moved back to Lincoln, where my trusty credit union is. I don't have any need to keep snotty people in my back pocket.
Today was the day I went to open savings accounts for my 3 granddaughters, so they can learn to see their money compound.
Decided to do that with my credit union instead.
I do not recommend the Lincoln Pine Lake location.
