Go To ANOTHER Bank!!!

Posted by: marieshel | Feb 1, 2016

This bank is not customer focused at all. I would never have started an account here if I knew what I was in for. (I didnt actually start the account with first security, I started when it was integra but first security took over and what a nightmare that was! My first clue to run and I should have listened.)

The online banking website is useless and recently marked by Norton antivirus as UNSAFE! https://safeweb.norton.com/reviews?page=1&url=firstsecurity.net

Half the time I get locked out of my account after the 2nd sign in try and then it says, "Too many failed logins. Enter your username and click "Continue". It won't continue!!! How user friendly is that?

Most online sites give you THREE tries, firstsecurity.net gives you two tries only then locks you out. Then if I use a different browser on my computer or use my cell phone or other devices the site does not recognize me at all, even if I have used that browser or device before! Every time I have an issue, I wonder why I don't change banks. One of these days I will change banks, when I have the time to do so. Once First security begins losing business due to their terrible online banking system, maybe they will take the earnings they make after they give the customer NOTHING for our money and invest it in a good and customer friendly website. If you plan on using online banking, go to another bank! If you expect interest on your checking go to another bank. If you want to start a christmas or travel account with higher interest rates, don't do it as they shut down the account and move the funds to another account and then call it inactive hoping you forget about your funds. Useless bank policies.

Banking Relationships...Be Aware

Bank evaluates each customer for profitability over time. Those using the bank only for rewards checking to earn a good interest rate will soon discover that their rewards checking account will automatically be closed and their money transferred into a non-interest bearing account. This has happened to not only me, but three relatives and a friend. You should consider this bank for rewards checking if you: 1) Only need a rewards checking account for a short period of time, or 2) Plan to take out loans, etc., and make the bank your full banking partner according to one of their branch managers. Best of luck.
