Since I cannot find a real bank location in the United States. I am going to keep up the pressure until someone with authority will deal with me to correct the mistakes you admit to making.
You know who I am. I will go to every Internet website and social media platform I can find to let other people know of my experiences.
Pre-Paid Visa Cards
We purchased some GREEN DOT pre-paid visa cards for Christmas gifts this year from our local grocery store and will NEVER make this mistake again.
1. After purchasing the cards, the method to activate them is very convoluted.
2. Once activated there is a MONTHLY MAINTENANCE CHARGE that immediately kicks in. Almost $8/month! The value of these cards was only $25 each.
3. When trying to contact the company's customer service numbers provided, you are directed to a sundry of marketing companies.
In summary, we will never purchase any cards with any association to Green Dot Bank, and would recommend that any potential customers consider other options.
