Very Helpful Staff, Good Service.

Posted by: Serah | May 23, 2013

We opened a CD when this community bank first opened and we saw the post in the rates blog.  It was a Connecticut drama when a northeast regional bank took over banking in the New Haven area, and this bank was a way to keep a local bank serving the community.  We visited a branch, the staff were all very helpful and it was easy to open accounts.  Since we don't live nearby, we have since been able to deal with them by phone, mail or through bank networks.  It is a small bank, so may not yet have some electronic services, but your money will not be in a big bank with no standards.  It will help serve a small community bank that works in its neighborhood.  After two years, we're still satisfied with this bank.
