Horizon Credit Union is headquartered in Spokane Valley and is the 12th largest credit union in the state of Washington. It is also the 225th largest credit union in the nation. It was established in 1948 and as of June of 2023, it had grown to 410 employees and 112,841 members at 33 locations. Field of Membership Restrictions

Membership in Horizon Credit Union is open to individuals who live, work, or worship within the school districts of the State of Washington; the Montana counties of Beaverhead, Broadwater, Cascade, Chouteau, Deer Lodge, Gallatin, Granite, Jefferson, Judith Basin, Lake, Lewis and Clark, Mineral, Missoula, Pondera, Powell, Ravalli, Sanders, Silver Bow or Teton; or the Idaho counties of Ada, Adams, Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Canyon, Kootenai, Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce, Shoshone, Valley, or Washington. Individuals who live or work in the Oregon counties of Baker, Grant, Malheur, Umatilla, Union, or Wallowa are also eligible to join. Federal employees living or working in Region One (Montana) of the United States Forest Service also qualify for membership.
