I banked with McCoy Federal Credit Union for many years. They are as good, if not better than other places I have banked. They have no minimum balance, and have no charge for basic services. The interest rates, and services are on par with other institutions of their kind. The employees were always friendly and helpful. I have several friends who have banked here as well, and all of them have been happy, and have had no real problems.
Since moving to the Orlando area more than 35 year ago, my wife and I opened our checking accounts with the credit union affiliated with the hospital that she works at. Since that time, we have had numerous checking accounts and savings accounts. They have been an excellent financial institution for all of our financial needs. The online services completely meet our needs and expectations and the customer service both at the locations and on the phone has been very helpful and knowledgeable. We have had numerous large and complex transactions involving settling of a personal estate that required the assistance of a branch manager that was very helpful and knowledgeable. If I was was to share once improvement it would be the number of branches are a bit limited and I would like to have one closer to where we live, but this has not been a major problem. Overall we have been very satisfied with McCoy Federal Credit Union.
Account was charged in two different causes 611$ and 117$ by Sprint co. and I didn’t even have an account with them. No body called or message no email. I set account with small direct deposit just for minor expense and no overdraft protection but it is went through and staff didn’t even to anything. No rep. Told me it is to late to charge it back. I said F.... no. I will contact my legal rep. I might pay this money to a lawyer just to prove the point.
