A great company to work with

Members First FCU has many branches. They have competitive loan rates and unmatched interest rates on savings accounts. There staff has been more than helpful whenever I have had a problem or misplaced my check card. They have recently redone their website which still lacks the features of some national chains, such as virtual wallet, but is a significant step forward.

Please Bank Elsewhere

I've been an account holder for well into a decade now. I've stayed with them for my move out of state. I've used the online check deposit feature for years with my old company and everything was deposited same day or next day. I recently changed jobs and my job is now contractual. Member's 1st has decided it to be funny, or whatever the reason, to put a hold on my checks for 10-12 business days. I'm not sure about the rest of the world, but i need access to money. Money that they are actually making interest on, despite the fact that i do not have access to it. This is a shame. I liked this bank, but i've chosen to take my banking needs somewhere that honors the code they try to convince you on. I get it, new job, there's a risk. However, not ONCE has there ever been a mobile deposit even questioned prior to this. Look for your banking needs elsewhere, this place has gone so far down hill it's embarrassing. The sad thing is, my roommate had the same thing happen to him, i should have followed suit a long time ago when he left this place. Live and learn

I never had an issue with Members 1st until recently. They absolutely refuse to correct a mistake on their part - instead, they have chosen the path of trying to cover their mistake instead of putting me, a member for 20 years, FIRST.

That slogan of Members 1st is just a ploy to get your business. They only care about themselves and won't even admit to their mistakes.

Would never recommend this credit union to anyone.

I had to pick 1 star in order to post this message. But would give this credit union 0 stars.
