Field of Membership Restrictions
Membership in Mobility Credit Union is open to all Texas residents through membership in the Texas Consumer Council. Individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in the Texas counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, or Wise also qualify for membership. Family members of current Mobility Credit Union membership are eligible to join, regardless of where they live.

Great People, Online System Fair, Watch For Hard Pull
Very nice, pleasant people at the branch. Wonky online platform is subject to going down in the middle of the day. Make sure your mandatory selfie matches your ID closely, or online application may get declined. Be careful not to consent to a hard credit pull if only opening a CD or money market. Much recommended to open accounts at branch vs online.
Communication Challenges
This credit Union made several processes more difficult and drawn out than they needed to be. I will leave it at that.
Very Bad In Person Banking Experience
Our family went there to add wife to my account.
we need to wait for a hour before we get a banker.
They do not have appointment , only walkins.
After long wait , it was horrible experience with the banker. He said "he cant add as id is expired and cant accept any other ids including forign passport"
We agreed and went back after renewing wifes Driving liscene.
After waiting another hour, same banker came available . he simply said " i cant take it" when we produced the renewed copy of license.
When asked why ? he responded back "because i cant take it"
i informed i opened my account with the same exact documents why is it a issue with wife account. He responded " i cant take it need the DL that we get in mail and cant accept the Dl that we got directly from the Driving liscence office"
he sounded rude and authoritative. I now dont feel to go back as there is mostly 2 bankers and thinking to close account for this reason.
On the good part their 5% checking's account is some thing no bank offers, and mobile banking is great . they also offer free notary which is also good .
