I have been a member for over 5 years. I love that this place is so helpful, and I love my new Kasasa account that gives me a little treat at the beginning of the month. It's like a cash bonus for just swiping my card! LOVE IT!!!!!
I have been a member of this credit union for just over two years. I switched from a large traditional bank because I was not pleased with the fees associated with my deposit accounts. North Country is a small but growing credit union, with fewer than 20 branches all located in Vermont. The size of this institution in comparison to other banks provides a small town family feel when seeking personalized service. Size of the institution, however, does not limit its ability to provide competitive services. There are no fees associated with keeping deposit accounts, with only a $50 minimum balance necessary to keep a savings account. There are also no fees from North Country for using ATM's from outside institutions. In fact, the fees charged by other institutions for utilizing ATM services are refunded by North Country. The checking account that I have also provides a $6 monthly bonus for meeting certain criteria involving direct deposit and debit card usage. Overall, I am very satisfied with this credit union. I am happy with the competitive services offered, and the few customer service inquiries that I have made have been follow up very promptly and professionally.
