North Star Credit Union (MN) is headquartered in Cook and is the 44th largest credit union in the state of Minnesota. It is also the 1,768th largest credit union in the nation. It was established in 1939 and as of December of 2024, it had grown to 31 employees and 5,976 members at 5 locations. North Star Credit Union (MN) has an A health rating.

Field of Membership Restrictions

Membership to North Star Credit Union is open to those who live, work, worship, attend school, or volunteer in Minnesota counties of Carlton, Itasca, Red Lake or St. Louis, or in St. Louis County School District 2142. Customers who receive electric power from Lake Country Power also qualify for membership, as do the employees of BNSF Railroad and North Star Credit Union. Relative of existing North Star Credit Union are welcome to join.
