Not Just A Number But A Name
I am always pleased when I do my banking with PFCU. The staff in New City are always very helpful and always very pleasant. I'm given personalized service and I actually get REMEMBERED! It's nice to see the same tellers when I go back. I like the way I am treated when I go in the branch and they have lower fees than regular banks.
Great Rates And Excellent Service
I've been with this Credit Union now for 4 years and I can't say enough about it besides the fact that you can only join if you live or work in Rockland county, NY. Their rates (especially low loan rates) are great and the service is excellent. They know me by name in the branch and I can call and easily speak to a live person locally based at the bank not in India or another country. It's the way that banking should be. Two thumbs up!
HORRIBLE BANKING
This is a horrible bank. Your debit/credit card will get denied with every transaction unless it follows a "pattern". You have to inform them even if traveling out of normal range for vacation or a night out on the town or else they will deny any transactions you make from your OWN money. It feels as if you need permission from mommy and daddy before you are allowed to use your own funds. This was several times not just once. Save yourself the trouble from opening up an account here. Also the people who call you back and their explanations are always the worse. Sometimes they will not call you back till the next morning... always keep cash on you if you are going to use this bank...in case you are continuously denied... they go through a third party for first time home buyer .... so no help there either... Honestly do not use this bank you will regret it...
