Really Go2?

If nothing else is ever said about this bank, I want to say here that they are either the stupidest first grader I have ever met or they are completely devoid of any pride. WHATSOEVER. They embarrassed me in front of family, friends, and business associates. They did this as a child would also...Whispered giggling over the phone. Playing obvious pranks that never ended. Not one of them popped up like a jack-in-the-box and hollered "just kidding!" Nope, they were not letting me use my money and they thought it was the funniest thing ever dreamt up. Back story is I'm buying a car with money sent from a car insurance company to replace a car of mine that was totalled. Back to the story: they let me put $10,000 down on the car (my limit was $10,000/day) and the dealership let me drive the car home knowing it would be paid off in 3 days. They had verified my account and the funds in it. After a week of late nights at the dealership on the phone with supervisors from Go2, I gave the car back and the dealership gave me the $10,000 back. Now the funny part. It's not really that funny. They are shamelessly trying to get my business back. Today was just the straw... if you value you sanity
Go 2 anywhere else.

Horrible Customer Service- Do Not Bank Here

I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Go2Bank following the death of my grandmother, who was the primary cardholder. What should have been a straightforward process of closing her account turned into an arduous ordeal, highlighting Go2Bank’s glaring inefficiency and lack of empathy.

Firstly, the customer service was appalling. From the moment I contacted Go2Bank to inform them of my grandmother's passing, I encountered a series of unhelpful and apathetic representatives. Each interaction felt like I was speaking to a brick wall, with customer service agents offering no real solutions or guidance. I was repeatedly asked to submit the same documents, such as the death certificate and proof of executorship, despite having done so multiple times.

The lack of communication and follow-up was equally frustrating. I was left in the dark for weeks at a time, with no updates or acknowledgment of my submissions. When I finally did manage to speak with a supervisor, the response was just as dismissive and unproductive. The whole process was riddled with bureaucratic red tape and unnecessary delays, making an already difficult time even more stressful.

Moreover, Go2Bank’s handling of sensitive information was concerning. There were several instances where I was asked to provide personal details over the phone without any assurance of confidentiality. This lack of professionalism and security is unacceptable, especially when dealing with such delicate matters.

In conclusion, Go2Bank’s customer service is severely lacking in competence, empathy, and efficiency. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. The stress and frustration I endured during this process were unnecessary and avoidable, reflecting poorly on Go2Bank’s ability to manage customer relations effectively.

Do Not Buy This Card

They are allowing retailers to sell prepaid reloadable cards, I purchased a card loaded money on it got home and was unable
To activate the card. Customers service can’t activate it because it can only be done online, but you will get an error message and never have access to the funds. Let’s not forget customer service is rude and not helpful. I didn’t know until after I purchased the card and read the issues that this has been an ongoing problem. Not sure if I’ll even get my money back

PISSED !!!

I've never in my life dealt with anybody as unprofessional and ignorant as these people I was very Larry about trying any kind of online bank as I have a regular bank account at a credit Union but I thought it wouldn't hurt to have a backup I've been hung up on talk through ignored your chat with an agent is actually an AI I think because it keeps responding the same thing and doesn't give you a chance to reply it says it's been a while are you still there and then all of a sudden the chat ends I wish I would have read reviews before I never really have for anything but I will now I have been waiting for my money to be put back in my account for days and da's there was one review of a man talking about he wasn't gonna be having anything skiing dinner I feel his pain's not Thanksgiving but I'm starving to death literally when I say I have nothing to eat I have nothing 0 I have an 8 for 4 days and I'm starving and they refuse to give me my money say I'd have to wait until the third that's 8 days away so I'm supposed to go to weeks With nothing to eat because I don't have anybody to borrow money might from because the money that they took was the money that I borrowed so I could eat so now I have hungry Cats hungry rabbit and I'm starving I feel like I'm gonna throw up I'm so hungry my stomach feels like it's eating itself and they refuse to give me my money I'm gonna be contacting the Better Business Bureau and probably my local news station sure they'd like to see how s***** they are all over the news for everybody to see I seriously even thought about calling the cops because they're stealing I don't care if they're A bank or just a person nobody has the right to steal they use that word pending that thing has depermanently say pending because I'm so angry Jesus I'm so hungry I don't even know what to do I literally have nobody to ask to borrow anything and it's not only me hungry my animals are hungry now too For the person that reads this reviews the next time take it for me and all the other one's my on here don't use this bank if everybody doesn't use the bank then they'll eventually have to get shut down cause I'm looking in to legal issues is this s*** aint right And now the couple dollars and some change that I have still sitting there For some reason keeps telling cash out that there isn't enough funds and there to put it in there when I'm trying to pull it to put to my cash app the couple dollars not going to buy anything with a couple dollars but still I thought there was like an issue with the internet the other day when it told me the same thing but that bank is stopping cash app from being able to pull money out to put it on your cash app that is Absolutely insane This bank has Messed with the wrong one Because I'll keep talking to people and researching and looking up stuff until I get that bit shut down

B Rating? Are You Kidding?

I was a customer from 2017 to 2024 when they failed to secure their platform. Someone possibly internally changed my username, email address and phone number. Then they “UN stashed” my money and transferred my money out of my account.

This bank said they needed 10-days “to investigate” and they closed my account. Right there tells you they are incompetent. Why would it take 10-days to investigate an electronic transfer?

And if they close my bank account without opening a new one, how are they going to refund my money after 10-days.

GoBank is a house of thieves. Save your time, keep your money, go elsewhere.

Trying To Scam Accounts

We were contacted by a person faking an employees email asking us to change the direct deposit to an account with Gobank. They provided the bank account number and routing number so I contacted GoBank to notify them that a fraudulent person is using their bank to steal funds from other people and when I called them, they said they couldn't help me if I didn't have an account. It appears this bank is on the fraud. They just kept saying they couldn't understand what I was saying. Do not do anything with this bank, they are thieves!

Also the fake transactions, that's funny.
The double transactions when you deposit when you withdraw and if you buy it's 100% immediate charded and 2-3 days or a week later you charge again. Go bank give me your onlyFans account so I can hook you up.

Horrible Company Doesn't Protect Customer

I am a disabled person and live on a very limited income. A fraudulent website keeps running a charge of 48.61 through my account and they will not do anything say I have to dispute it by writing and mailing in a complaint and rent is due in less than a half of a month!!!!!! DO NOT USE GO 2 BANK they do not protect their customers money!!!!!!!!

This company is not customer likely. They let transactions occur that you did not approve. The customer service agents talk over you with their scripted responses and don’t care nothing at all about your finances. They charge you to load money on to your account and charge you to send money to cash app or Apple Pay this company is full of greed!

Does Not Disclose Fees In Good Faith

Go2 Bank does not disclose fees in good faith, only in the most basic legal requirement. if you transfer money out OR in using something like cash app (as in my experience), you WILL BE CHARGED*. It's very non-specific wording intended to confuse you and make you pay fees. BE AWARE.

Closed Account Quickly

I was disappointed RushCard will be discontinued, so I opened an account with Go2Bank. RushCard had this bank as the same bank company used. Immediately, I did apply and I was able to open an account. Then, I recalled to view their reviews. I chat with an agent to cancel my account. I was easily to follow the steps from the chat, and I’m so happy my account did give a closed alert. I feel relieved that within an hour I was able to open and closed a possible unhappy financial hiccup. I didn’t give this bank a chance to disappoint me too.

Very Bad Service

Is my words experience I have been a client for greendot bank for many years and decided to use go2bank and after a deposit to my account they lock my account I been trying to talk to someone by phone and email because they ask me for a state Id or driver license and I don't have one I know I could verify my identity with other documents but for more then 13 email and no answer to my request ...

Worst bank ever, don't ever have a dispute over a fraudulent charge, chat gave an incorrect claim number for the dispute, 7 days later, I am still out $550 and no end in site after sending in the SECOND dispute form! This is ridiculous, a bank inside of Walmart would have better customer service.

Warning, Veterans!

This bank claims they will receive and release your direct deposit 4 days early. This is a blatant lie! And they know they are lying. How it is not criminal is beyond me. Your direct deposit may actually arrive late. And don’t expect any help from customer service. They have pre written and scripted responses they send and then just end the call or messaging.

This bank needs to be closed and it’s executives arrested. But if course that can never happen as the banks are above the law.

Worst Bank

Not only did i have to wait for my card ...when i finally received it. I made a accidental purchase tried to cancel the transaction right away they wouldn't cancel it because it was pending.could not offer me no information on the merchant no information provided on app. I asked for info so I could call place stop let them know i made transaction by mistake. This is a Friday ..today Saturday payment goes through i call back now they have phone # but no other info. I was told i have to call get my $ back. But i tried to stop this before it even happened. Customer service was rude slow no help at all. Never heard of a bank not being able to help you.

Do NOT use! A deposit can/may be held up to TWO WEEKS for no apparent reason! Customer Service will tell you it's generated automatically and have no control over it! I sent someone money through card on Cashapp. No probelm; then, they sent it back, but it didn't show up on the card. When l called them (April 20th) she said they would release MY MONEY by MAY 1st! WHAT???!!!

Signing Up

They'll send you a debit card to try and get you to sign up...without opting in, or requesting information. I did not request any information from them at all. and after receiving this I'd never bank with them they're customer service was completely unable to help. and when trying to talk to them over the phone it constantly disconnected

Do NOT use this crappy so called bank! ?????? My money is missing! I cannot get customer service to help me! I have called for 3 weeks on 5 separate occasions! Customer service sucks! They are useless and keep changing my case number! I have emailed them on 5 different occasions only to find out they are changing my case number again! ??????

I too was looking forward to setting up a direct deposit with this new bank. Have been with the original Gobank for years with not one problem. This bank is just the opposite. The customer service representatives don't speak English to understand what your calling for. That presents a huge problem. I used my Go2 bank card as a deposit for my hotel booking. 2 days later I checked out. Usually the pending charge would be released immediately. Not with Go2 bank. They decided to hold it a week. For what reason , I don't know. Then on the day its supposed to be released it wasn't. I was told 3 days in a row to wait till after midnight to receive my funds. That was after being transferred 4 xs to disputes, business , then back to customer care. It doesn't matter if you speak with a supervisor. I did. Got a dispute case opened. Told by supervisor it would take 2 days tops. Still they haven't returned my 100 deposit. Its ridiculous. But what can I do. Before you sign up with a prepaid card be sure to read reviews. For you won't end up like me. I can't do anything. Its not like they are local. I just ended up losing my money. Its not right but it is what it is.

Been with Green Dot Bank for ten years and was excited to take advantage of Go2Bank advertised banking features.
Signed up, got card in mail and was ready to have direct deposit switched over.
Reached out to customer service with questions. Never got through to any humans. Never have been able to get through.
Don't make Go2Bank your go to bank. You might regret it.

Wow. What A Mess Of A Product Launch

Received 4 debit cards, none could be activated. Spent a minimum of 1 hour on the phone with them each day with every trying to do basic troubleshooting without even reading the notes.

The “back office” and supervisors” are never available and to top it all off .... they charged me a monthly maintenance fee before they even fixed the problem. No ownership. No follow through with anything.
