Customer service not willing to work with me. Even during this holiday season telhio (unlike other banks) has no one time forgiveness. My kids get a little less and telhio lines their pockets with my money. I'm ready to go back to the day you put your money in a safe at home. Merry Christmas Telhio......Thanks for the holiday spirit.
I opened a savings account with Telhio Credit Union recently in the Columbus, Ohio, area recently. I went there in person to find out the best one for me. A representative was very helpful and told me about the current rates on savings account and how to get the best one. The person also warned me about not taking out too much money per month or a fee could be charged, and I had to maintain at least $5 or more. I accepted the terms and conditions and wrote them a check from a checking account with Chase Bank. I have enjoyed having an account there and go there in person once a month to make a deposit to save money. I really like this credit union and will continue to use their services, especially their online banking features.
I have been with Telhio for some years now and I really can't say enough good things about them. To be honest I feel like they are just getting better and better. I have both checking and a savings account. The process of getting those accounts open was pretty simple once my application was approved. The guy that helped me get my account open and set up the online account was very friendly and patient with me. He walked me through the whole process. Every since then I have only received wonder friendly customer service, whether I go into a branch or just use the drive through window which I love because it is always so quick. The website is extremely user friendly. They have all of their services listed on there and its pretty simple to navigate. AND my absolute favorite thing about their website is having the option to instantly chat with a rep should I need to. This is an invaluable service, to me. It makes get the help that I need even easier. Like I said, I just can't say enough good things. If you are considering a credit union Telhio is Awesome, check them out!
Telhio has been a great bank to me ever since I opened up an account 2 months ago. Upon sign up of a checking account I received a $50 bonus that I could use for anything I wanted. I had a problem with a check depositing at my previous bank so I brought it to Telhio and they deposited it with no problem. They also have a coin counter in the lobby so you can bring in all of your loose change and put it in there and it will count it for you and deposit it into your account. The coin counter is very accurate and I have made several deposits this way. Their online app is also very sleek. When you log in on a computer it asks you one of your 3 security questions so it is very secure. This bank has made me enjoy my banking experience and the bankers at my branch know me by name.
Telhio is not a compassionate bank. Totally insensitive to the consumer.
If you make a mistake, don't count on them to be forgiving because they will not.
Many of their branch ATM's do not accept deposits and I am told by a manager when you make an ATM deposit, they will put a hold the funds for 2 days. Even cash!
Fees are high, just like most banks.
I really feel this kind of policy is place in order for them to collect more NFS fees.
Ovedraft protection, even with that you would have to pay a fee.
Bottom line, this bank is totally inflexible. They brag on their home page: Telhio is more than a bank. It's a credit union. And when you're a member of Telhio, you own it. You reap the benefits. Wherever you are in life, we're here to help you grab every opportunity.
Total grap. I have been a member for about 10 years and do not see the advantage to being a member. I have other accounts with Chase and PNC and have no problems. I know when I make a deposit it will be there. I hear Huntington is very forgiving.
