I am a person who makes early payments with no delay of 1 day. I have been working with this institution for years, but it is an institution that I will NEVER choose from now on! . It is a Credit union that canceled the approved loan for ridiculous reasons and I regret being a customer of it. I DO NOT recommend it to anyone. Credit approval department is messing up.!
companies are permanent, employees are temporary. After all, it is the people who work there that make the companies bigger or smaller.
Credit history is our mirror, if you will not give it yo the person who is not even 1 day late, who will you give it to?
Take your money elsewhere that is what I plan to do! Its 2019 and nothing has changed with them. They are still finding sneaky little ways to steal from their customers. I was charged a bogus NSF fee even though I had plenty of money in my account. In addition they charge you a $5 fee even if you withdraw money from their own ATMs. They are worse than the banks and they have fees for everything! I have already discouraged one of my friends from joining them and I will continue to do the same.
I have been with this credit union for several years. Mostly I have had good experiences with them. My one complaint is their fees. They have increased largely in amount and number.
I joined this credit union because I was a young student looking to set up an account with minimal fees and decent reliability. TruMark has a membership for students 26 years and younger which allows you to get essentially the best features (highest interest rates, debit card, free checks, unlimited withdraws) for no fees and with only a small amount in each account. In this regard, TruMark has well met my expectations and I really have no complaints. The few times I have had to interact with a banker have been pleasant and helpful. That being said, TruMark doesn't offer anything spectacular. I am better served investing most of my savings, as, like most savings accounts, there is very little return. The mobile app and website have useful features that I utilize frequently (like mobile check deposits), but the design looks like it was made in the early 90s and the layout isn't very intuitive.
I would rather give this bank NO STARS across the board on the ranking system. The company does bad business. I asked for my account to be closed out years ago due to the fact that I had relocated to California. Years later, while checking my credit report I see an outstanding balance from 2012!!! Mind you I closed this account with a zero balance. I call them to get it taken care of, and they tell me that the account also acquired some outrageous fees due to them not closing my account properly... AND THEY EXPECTED ME TO PAY IT! Absolutely not. It didn't help that their team is unprofessional and argued with me "the customer" about what happened in the past. "why wasn't my account closed out when I asked in 2012", I say. Their response is "oh I can't see that" or "It's not documented so I wouldn't know". They are rude, unprofessional, unorganized, and I will recommend someone bank with a shoebox before they trust their finances with Trumark.
You think a bank would disputed unauthorized charges on your account,not this one. Their first response is to call the company to resolve it yourself. Overdraft fees is where they get all their income. Forgot to transfer money into your checking account, biggest mistake. They end up taking transactions that were prosessed days before and push it through now that your account is in the negative, accumulating more overdraft frees. This is the only bank I've ever had were all I pay is overdraft fees. I've had Wells Fargo for years and never got overdraft fees.
they are the worst, they charged me almost $300 for overdraft charges on items that merchant posted back on the same day. They still charged me and did not bother to reverse a fee and credit me back, explaining i signed the paper when i open up the account. Poor custumer servise, please look somewhere else without agrivation...
This is the worst credit union out there. They are focused on one thing... their bottom line. What does that mean for us, the consumers? Poor customer service, low interest rates, and unnecessary fees. If you're considering this bank, look elsewhere. I've been a member for years, but that is about to change. As soon as my automatic payments begin coming out of my new account, this one will be closed and good riddens!!!
