Rutgers Fedral Credit Union is has just two branches.I have taken out two loans through the bank. On eissue is that studenst are allowed to work in ceratin capacitties at the bank. This can make it difficult when you have questions. There is alot of personla ocntact as the bank is so small. They are very efficient , however for larger loans , I recommend a larger instituton. The bank is well run and the support staff is wonderful.
I've been a member for around 7 years. I used to be pretty happy. It's a credit union, so there was always some inconvenience, but the pros of banking with a credit union always outweighed those in my book. But over the last couple years, they have really gone downhill in terms of member services. I've been having an ongoing issue that has resulted in my online banking being locked for two months now. I've called member services many times and have left voicemails, but have been unable to get someone on the phone in over a month. The last person I was able to talk to had no idea how to solve my problem but wasn't even honest about this. It looks like I'm going to need to change bank again. Disappointing.
