Membership is also open to military or civilian personnel of the U.S. government who are assigned to or work for Tinker AFB, Vance AFB, one of the Armed Forces Reserve Centers in Oklahoma, members of any veterans organization in Oklahoma, or employees of a select business partner.

Used To Be A Great Credit Union Now Its Worst
Filed a scam complaint with fraud department they never called back instead they blocked all access to my account online won’t give me any information even when I go in to broken arrrow branch . Some of my ach accounts are no longer paid on time . Worst ever customer service
Travel Trailer Loan
1st thing is their website would not let me set up to transfer funds from my checking account at another bank to the checking account attached to the loan. Definitely not a user friendly website. So I started mailing checks for my payment. I tried to pay $500 per month when my payment was approximately $300. You would think I would be getting it paid off faster, but out of every $200 extra they charged $175 extra interest & only applied $25 to the payment. Why would a lender do this to a customer trying to pay off their loan?
I also very emphatically advise to stay away from Tinker Federal Credit Union
Be Warned Trust Me!!
Tinker has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in 55 years! If you take a loan with them, they will add funds to your loan without contacting you! Be warned!! I would never recommend borrowing money from this institution! Trust me I’ve been through hell with them for two month. Now trying to refinance with another better institution!! Be warned!!! I got a third notice by mail stating I need to show proof of insurance or they would take coverage for me and charge funds to my loan. Well I did show proof but they already charged my loan. I never got the two notices they claim to have sent! No phone calls! No registered mail. Nothing! They just help themselves adding funds to my loan without my approval!!
Fraud TFCU
I have ALWAYS paid ALL of my accounts with TFCU in full and on time....apparently at one point I became a fraud victim on one of my accounts and instead of TFCU helping me to figure out what happened they are sueing me and can't even provide a list of what was charged! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK!
Stay Away!
If I could give a negative review, I would. We had a car loan with them that we refinanced. However, they insisted that we switch to their GAP insurance (which when I went to the car dealer to cancel the GAP...they warned me to not do so...but the interest rate was lower so we did).
Well, my daughter was in an accident and the car was totalled. The GAP went back through all the years of the loan looking for late payments, fees, our deductible, etc. Anything they could find and ended up saying they didn't have to pay and that we still owed TFCU over $1000.
We went in and talked to several people to no avail.
Later, when we went to buy another car we found they had reported the $ as a repo...not a missed payment.
Stay far far away from this institution.
