Why Cant I Cash Your Check?
My brother was part of a class action lawsuit.
Angeion Group Sauls et al v Hobby.
The check is from TriState Capital.
We live in Perry Georgia.
We bank with Colony Bank.
They said the check comes back as possibly fraudulent and will not even put it on a ten day hold!
We've been loyal customers of this bank for 10 plus years.
Never bounced a check or had any charges of anything negative on our account.
Where do people who live out of state cash your checks?
Walmart ran it and couldn't. Kroger ran it and couldn't. 12 check cashing places, in a 7 county radius, couldn't validate it.
We tried opening a new account at the military credit union, in my brothers name only (he is handicapped and its a big deal to get him into a place long enough to go through all the stuff required to open an account) just to have them come back and say that the check comes back as possibly fraudulent.
So where and how do out of state people cash your checks?
