Union Bank and Trust Company (NE) is headquartered in Lincoln and is the 3rd largest bank in the state of Nebraska. It is also the 209th largest bank in the nation. It was established in 1917 and as of June of 2022, it had grown to 945 employees at 35 locations. Union Bank and Trust Company (NE)'s money market rates are 7X the national average, and it has an A health rating.
Online, UBTgo is the most complicated, user unfriendly banking system I have ever encountered. Their bill pay page is slow, is not connected to your transaction page and often does not pay the bill on a timely basis. UBT's computers have trouble posting transactions immediately and they can take days! The transaction page of UBTgo is hard to read and confusing. For online, I have a credit union option or I suggest First National Bank (of Omaha). UBT online banking stinks.
