I've banked with them for 6 years, loved it. The folks at the branch are friendly and competent. No complaints about anything. Online banking with WebBranch works great, although I have not tried the mobile feature. No hidden fees, no overdraft charges.
I love my Credit Union. I originally put my money into UWCU because it was on my college campus. The first great impression was when I ordered a debit card. I didn't have to wait weeks or even days to get it. They made my card on site, it took 15 minutes and my card was ready to use! Their website and mobile app is very user friendly. I can easily move my money from savings to checking (or vice versa) in seconds and it's available for me to use right away. They have great customer service and have prompt responses to my questions. I graduated college a couple of years ago, and I honestly haven't physically been to my CU in years, but I still do not want to switch to a different CU! They make everything so user friendly that I can get all my money management needs done without actually having to go to the CU! My favorite option about my CU is mobile check deposits. I have deposited multiple checks through my phone and have never had one problem. The software is great! I would highly recommend this CU to any pre or post college student!
I had a unique situation were a church was wanting to send a check to the uw credit union to pay for a portable A/C I was concerned about the check getting properly applied I forgot the guys name but he was very professional took onweship of the problem and what ever he did the check was properly credited
I've been with UW Credit Union for 3 years now after leaving my old bank because I was sick of all the fees and general sense of greed. UW Credit Union has many free ATM's in my area that are readily available and in convenient locations. Also, their customer service is quite good and always very friendly. Even thought I am not the richest person in the world, they always treat me with respect.
I actually switched to them when I noticed when I was taking money out of their ATMs I did not get charged a service fee, even though I was not with their bank. My old bank had fees that were borderline criminal so I was happy to leave them and join UW Credit Union.
I've been with the UW Credit Union ever since I first started college in 2005. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. The staff is always polite and courteous, and they're always very willing to do whatever they can to help you out. They're excellent at helping you gain more knowledge about personal finance, which is crucial for an institution that deals mostly with students who have just moved out of their parents' houses. Every time I've had a question they've been able to provide me with a prompt answer. What I really like about this bank is that they're in a convenient location in my city, located both in my student union, and another location just a few miles north. I'm able to access banking whenever I need it, and I really like the ease of use with their mobile site. I'd recommend this credit union to anyone attending the University of Wisconsin.
I have been using the UW Credit Union for the past few years and the service has been amazing. They are always very helpful to sit down and talking about my accounts and questions. Additionally they also have very low fees and are always put the customers interest first.
I have had zero problems when banking with the credit union. The online banking is far superior to my previous bank. Depositing check via mobile has saved me a lot of time and energy. They also have a much better web app. I have never had any user problems with it and constantly had problems with my old bank's app. It is very quick and easy to check my balance or do anything thing else through the app.
I joined this bank as a freshman in college. I was moving to a new town all alone, opening my first account on my own, and I was very nervous. The people at this bank took the time to explain everything to me about what type of account I should open and why, how to use it, and helped work through all the kinks I ran into along the way. I once went over my account spending limit, and was charged a fee which they forgave me for because it was my first time. I am very shy, but I have no problem calling them up whenever I have questions or concerns. I love that I can also email them securely when ever I feel necessary. They also have a mobile deposit feature that I love! I can deposit my checks from where ever I am. I now live in a city half an hour away, and I haven't switched banks because I love this one. I do wish they had more locations around here, but I won't be switching any time soon.
