I love this bank. This is by far one of the best banks I have ever done business with. When I went in to open new checking account, I was just assuming same old same old service as banks come. Sat down with a lady that was very friendly and helpful with getting the process started. I had a new account opened and was out of there within twenty minutes. I have since downloaded the banks mobile banking app. I really enjoy all the great features on the app. Actually since downloading the app, I haven't even had to step foot in the bank. I can mobile snap a picture of all my work or personal checks that need to be deposited into my account. I have even opened a vacation club by chatting with a bank teller through their available chat. I can transfer money from one account to another with a simple click of a button. I plan on getting a mortgage with them within the next 4 years. So if your looking for a great, friendly bank with excellent service, I highly recommend the Y-12 Federal Credit Union. I promise you won't be disappointed with any of their service. I recommend this to all my family and friends.
In my expierence working with this credit union was a postive venture. I am very happy with their services and opportunities as well. Customer services was very adequate, if I had questions they are able to answer quickly and reasonably. They have competitive rates, and they are willing to help out the "small" folks as well, not just the large corporations. Very good company overall
Y-12 has got to be the worst bank I have done business with from the lack of ways to deposit money into my banking account, not enough partnering banks to take care of my banking when I am away from the Knoxville, TN area, and by far the worst customer service I have ever received. The last time I called in the representative kept cutting me off in the middle of sentences and didn't listen to the issues with my bank account at all. I will be closing my account with this bank. I would not suggest Y-12 as a good bank.
