Does American Pride Bank do a hard or soft credit inquiry?

There are no general rules; but most credit unions do ChexSystem inquiry only for RCAs.  Some banks do hard pull.

In your case, it is YMMV until you actually try it since it's not an RCA that people have.  You can always check with CSRs but they sometimes are clueless and give the wrong information.
