Back in April or may, I saw a post about MMA that gave a bonus after a six month deposit. Something like 500 on 50000? The original expiration date was July 31 but then was extended to Sept 30. I can not locate it now. Can anybody help me? with this

Chase is still offering the $500 for their checking and savings deal and you only have to leave $300 in the savings after 3 months and can take that out after 6 months. This offer comes in the mail quite frequently and I received another one last week. I believe the amount needed for the savings is $15,000 that has to stay in there for 90 days and $300 for the next 90 days. A total checking account is also needed.

This sounds similar, but even better. It's called 360 Savings at Capital One. Their note: "If you've had a Savings product with Capital One 360 or ING DIRECT before, you won't be eligible for the bonus".

It basically pays what amounts to a 1% bonus in approximately 100 days after funding the account and maintaining that balance the whole time. You only have about a week left to open the account (expires 9/30/15), and 10 days after opening to deposit a minimum of $5000 to $50,000 maximum. With the additional .75% APR you will earn on the funds, you will make approximately 4.75% APR for those 90 or so days, .75% thereafter (subject to change, of course).

Huntington National National Bank has something even better called Huntington 5 Checking with NO MONTHLY DEBIT ETC. QUALIFICATIONS. It is available for opening until 11/24/15 for "existing customers or residents of OH, KY, IN, PA, WV, or MI". It must be opened online. $300 bonus for only a $5000 deposit. You just have to keep $5000 in aggregate balances with them to avoid a $5 monthly maintenance fee (if you decide to stay). I won't even get into the APR equivalent or how you could play this one.

It appears the Huntington 5 checking account $300 bonus for a $5000 deposit offer has been changed to $200 for a $1000 deposit. It's actually a much better offer as far as APR equivalent goes. Read the "fees" page closely, though, to work it to your best advantage.
