Bay State Savings Bank

I attempted to open a 48 month CD (2%) with Bay State Savings Bank. Only at the end of the application they tell you that $10000 is the limit. There is no such indication on this site. Has anyone else run into this or is this something new?

Apparently the $10K cap is just for ACH. I was told that I could fund the CD in any amount if I was willing to send a paper check by mail.

Thanks, twospikes. I gave up too easily. The trick was to select to fund by mail and enter any valid amount. The actual amount of the CD will be determined by the mailed check.
