Are You Reading Your Bank Statements As Close As You Should For Unwarranted Fees?

Folks, anyone who has been a member of DA for a decent time probably knows which bank I refer to when I am posting about my "problematic"  bank so I will not name it in this post.  Something is going on when a banker will show a customer on the screen with your account info that they have truly reversed a fee on your account which they admit should not have been charged and today I found out the fee is still charged to the account!  Is that bank so desperate to gouge customers with fees that they have to resort to such antics??  Of course, they have reversed the fee once again but Monday I will be on the phone voicing my disappointment with the banker who did this and anyone else I can speak to.  Don't take it for granted that just because a banker or customer service rep on the phone tells you something has been done that it is so.  Even if they "show" it to you, it seems we have to check back because they have their special tricks to take the money back once we have left the bank it seems!

I am very ticked off by this because so many young people need every penny they have in their checking or savings accounts more than that bank needs it and this kind of bad financial behavior has to stop!    So you should be sure to keep a close eye on all your bank statements and try to catch all and any fees you should not be paying especially if you bank with the one you may know I do.

I agree Paoli. You shouldn't have to 'chase' after your problematic bank to get the fee reversed!

Stewie:  I can't believe it!  Now I know at least ONE  DA member reads my many posts and you must be a very wise one to have figured out the bank so quickly. :)  Have a good day.

Really??  You know anyone willing to do "that" again??  Now that would be a big joke!
