paoli2 | | 2,641 posts since 2011Years ago when our nation rewarded people for being savers and our economy was not in the ocean, we did used to have banks and credit unions willing to "match" rates to get deposits. That now seems to be in the past. When I have tried it with my institutions, they just say they can't afford to give higher rates because they don't have enough loans coming in to warrant it. I'll be watching your post just to see if some DA member has found a winner for us and I do hope it is one with a good rating!
