Designating Multiple Beneficiaries With Non Equal Percentages In A POD Account

I was informed by a Credit Union Representative that I could not name 2 beneficiaries with unequal percentages. It had to be split 50/50. I have not encountered that before. Other Credit Unions have told me to write in the percentages I desired when their form did not have a line item for percentages. I believe the Representative is misinformed and that legally since the money is mine, I should have the right to designate exactly how the funds are inherited in a POD situation. I am not aware of an incentive or reason that the Credit Union should insist otherwise. Does anyone have experience with this as to what the Law states?
