Maximizing New Credit Card Offers?

I have not done any credit card offers in a very long time but in the last few days I opened a new Amex, $200 for $1000 spend and CapOne, $150 for a $500 spend.

I plan to spend the $1000 at Amex on Aldi gift cards because I shop there a lot and they pay 3% in rewards. So the effective discount would be 23%.

On the capital one, I will prepay my gas bill.

I am trying to determine if I should sign up for another offer now or wait?

My score "hits" are not a huge issue because Im starting from about an 827/828 score.

However, none of the cards are likely to become regular spend cards for me. In other words, I'm going to do the deals, get the bonuses and put them in my desk drawer. Probably never to come out again without another promo.

Given all that, should I go ahead & go another one or two offers now, before year end? Or wait? Is there any upside or downside to doing another 1-2 now or waiting? I understand each inquiry dings my score but Im starting so high that it's not a concern.

None of these had 0% balance transfer offers, they all had fees.

Thanks

Bank of America Rewards card. $200 bonus after spending $500 in the first 90 days. 3% cash back on gas purchases, 2% at grocery stores, 1% everywhere else. I guess 3% would be good if someone drives a big gas-hog. For me, its only about a buck fifty per fill-up.

I already have a BAC Cash Rewards from long, long ago that I rarely use so I don't think I would be approved for that one. I got an email with changes coming... letting me pick my categories.

I might use the 3% for online shopping but nothing else is good for me. I don't do apps or smart phones.

Beginning the week of January 14,1 you'll be able to choose the category where you want to earn 3% cash back2 in the Mobile Banking app3 or Online Banking. You'll also have more flexible redemption options. Best of all, you don't need to do anything right now — all of these enhancements will be automatic!

Each calendar month, as you plan for future purchases, you can change your 3% choice category online. If you don't make a change, the choice category will remain the same. At first, the choice category will be set to gas purchases.

two percentage Cash back at grocery stores and wholesale clubs

one percentage Unlimited cash back on all other purchases

Earn 3% and 2% cash back on up to $2,500 in combined choice category/grocery store/wholesale club purchases each quarter.

The more offers you're pursuing at once, the more complicated it gets, and the further away from 'natural' spending you have to go. Up to you what you're comfortable handling.

I can find my spending by prepaying things. Like my gas bill, my internet and so forth. And buying aldi gift cards a year in advance,

So that is not a problem..right now.

I was considering doing another deal...200 for 1000. But I guess I could hold off on that.
