Does anyone know much about Citizen Access ? I am considering opening up a hys and cd"s . your thoughts and experience is much appreciated. Thanks

I have those same accounts with Citizen's Access, dating back to Nov 2018. My experiences have been quite positive. The rates are consistently near the top, and ACHs initiated from the CitzAcc system have been extremely fast for funds that I've sent from CitzAcc to other institutions.

My only problem with them so far is the maintenance of linked external accounts. CitzAcc only allows 5 external accounts at a time, and the online "delete" process does not work properly. When I delete one of my 5 linked accounts and attempt to initiate the linking of a replacement account to re-fill my 5, it always results in an error for exceeding the allowed number. I have to call in to get the old account truly removed, which has only taken 4 or 5 minutes each time, But to have a low allotment and malfunctioning deletion system is a poor pairing.

Being so new to the market, I've not read anything about people's experience when CDs mature. I know that online maintenance of maturity options is non-existent. Ally has spoiled me on this front, with the ability to change just about everything for one's self. It may be on their 1 year anniversary next month (May) when we find if there are problems at maturity.

Overall, recommended. Unless you need a lot of linked accounts, I see no downside at CitzAcc.
