Have Ally Transfers Gotten Slower?

I used to have much quicker transfers and I did $200 pulls from a ton of external accounts to prime them for quick transfers.

All that seems to be worthless now as the quickest I can do any transfer in or out is Thursday.

My remaining Ally balances were already low...$293. And they might get lower with very little reason to use the account anymore.

Yes I have found them to take much longer than next day. Not happy when I lose interest or locked out of cd offering at another institute because Ally takes three business days to transfer funds!

I did a pull into Ally from an external account yesterday. It shows up today as promised. Believe Ally has both next-day and standard (longer) transfers.

Although Ally’s rates are less competitive now, it is still one of my favorite banks due to its excellent online interface.

On my end, its not showing 1 day transfers in or out for any of the links I have set up and many of them used to be 1 day transfers. I guess it could happen faster but I would not know it until later.

3 day transfers are just too slow and it will keep me from keeping anything but a few hundred at Ally. Unless they happen to have another 1% bonus deal like last year.

Varies. Many of my ACH transfers can take two business days. Other, like one I did today, are promised in one day. Not clear on why the differences. I do use ALLY a lot because I do many large balance ACH transactions and most other places are limited to like 25K max. So, thanks for the responses on this. I will keep an eye out for other ACH HUB services, but right now ALLY is my place because of the high savings rate, and ability to allow large balance ACH transactions.

Ally responded and it sounds like the rejected transfer from Regions caused my problem. Sounds like after 60 days I will go back to 1 day. (I am not asking for a letter to establish the link with regions, screw it)
Regions had rejected a pull of the sum of the 2 small transfers at both Ally & AA. Ally requires a letter and AA required nothing. (I verified the 2 small transfer ins but the pull out were refused because Regions had not gotten my signature card yet)
-------------------------------------------------
So, it looks like what had happened was there was a rejected transfer to your Regions Bank account due to that account being frozen. Just previously, there was also a cancelled transaction coming from Regions Bank. The failed transfer caused the transfer speeds to reduce to 3 business days. Once you go another 60 days with no transfer issues, it should go back down to 1 business day for you. This also touches on your previous emails in regard to the Regions Bank account. In the system, that account shows as frozen. We will not be able to transfer to or from it without a letter from them showing us the account is still valid. You can still request transfers to and from as long as submit the transfer from a Regions Bank representative.

My transfers are back to 1 day at Ally. Just don't really need them anymore. Here is hoping for another promo. Or else, I see no reason to use them anymore.
