I Am Looking Gor Information On What Happens When A Bank Or CU Is Closed

I am trying to convince a friend to consider bank and CU health information.

I think there was an article on DA about potential impacts when a bank or CU is closed (e.g. a cut in your existing CD interest). Does anyone know where I can find this information?

Click on the "Bank Health Ratings" link at the bottom of any page on DA. It opens with slides of bank health grade spreads from 2006 to present, and then text that suggests what can happen as failure approaches and beyond.

In most cases a bank or credit union takes over the closing institution the next morning, you go in and everything is the same. Just the name of the institution changes, and you may eventually get new checks and or account numbers
