This may be a stupid question but does anyone know what the meaning of (**NTS) and (*) in Ken's CD Rates Summary? I've searched but can't seem to find an answer.

The "definitions" are at the bottom of the table, just above the list of removed deals. The NTS one is New To Summary to mark items that weren't listed previously. The single * seems to be for identifying banks whose abbreviations are somewhat unclear:

*AMEX NB (American Express National Bank), BMW (BMW Bank), CBRI (Citizens Bank RI), COBNA (Capital One Bank NA), COBUSA (Capital One Bank USA), HBNE (Horizon Bank NE), LOB (Live Oak Banking Company), MBC (Merrick Bank Corp), MBD (Medallion Bank), MRB (Merchants Bank), MRBI (Merchants Bank of Indiana), TCF (TCF National Bank), TFSB (The Federal Savings Bank), UNB (United National Bank)

**New To Summary
