Couldn't Change My Password

My email account was breached. I tried to change my password on Synchrony Bank website. I was asked to receive OTP (one time password) on my mobile phone. I was directed to 'Password Change' page right after entering the OTP correctly. After entering the new password twice, the 'Save Changes' button was still disabled. I logged off and logged in again so that I could change the password, but the button was still disabled. Did you encounter this password change problem?

I called the bank and asked for help. I was asked to use the 'Forgot Password' option to change my password. I finally could change my password on Synchrony Bank website, but I think this is a weird way to change the password.

Yes I have had a similar problem, but just like you CSR was able to get it done. You failed to state what browser you were using, and if you would allow the browser to save all or some of your logon credentials. Usually clearing the browser cache, and restarting the computer does magic to fix issues like what you describe.

I was using Google Chrome. You are right that I did not allow the browser to save all or some of my logon credentials. Thanks for reply.
