Estate Administration

Does anyone have experience with a credit union, bank, or other firms that will act on either being an executor or will hire out to assist an executor in post death estate/will activities ...

most places are interested in doing pre-death estate planning. Not the question here ..... wanting to know who can assist or even do estate duties post death?? I know some large bank will, but much of work needed is administrative and secretarial in nature, and not needing to be billed at full born legal billing rates .... more like CPA firm type work.

I have been told that SOME Credit Unions may have TRUST like departments, but I am not familiar with which ones have them.

-Thanks

Some paralegals focus solely in that area and know where the line is on practicing law. Local search is best since you want someone familiar with the terrain

I suggest you search locally. My lawyer referred me to a community bank that has a trust department. If a lawyer drew up your will that might be the place to start.
