Like if you sell a 5 year brokered CD that makes 6% in two years, if/when rates go back down to 2%. And you wanted to put your money in dividend aristocrats or index funds or maybe even an add-on CD that earned more than 2%. Hard to imagine buying a 2% brokered CD and then having to sell it when rates are 5%.
