Sylvia | | 389 posts since 2012My funds went to savings account on day of maturity, as I had requested. I then initiated ACH withdrawal through external FI. Money was in external FI by following day.
Rickny | | 1,296 posts since 2017I have CDs maturing November. I sent a secure message to see if they will ACH to my Chase checking account. Waiting to hear back.
eneldar | | 39 posts since 2022My CD matured 10/21 and the proceeds were deposited to my share account the same day, as I had previously requested. I called the morning of 10/21 and requested a check mailed to me and the CSR said it would be mailed that day. My share account shows a withdrawal and check issued to me on 10/21. This is what I call easy and efficient customer service.
Choice | | 937 posts since 2020Why not a (counter)offer …since current rates are close and no need to set-up a new account…bet they’d like to keep a customer
Rickny | | 1,296 posts since 2017I'd go for the 20 month 4.6% at USSCU if I decide on a CD. Looking at some munis paying over 5% tax free. The CD maturing is a 36 month at 3.25% and is the lowest paying CD in may ladder. Not interested in 3 year CD.
blazer9 | | 228 posts since 2019With a nearly maxed out, joint acct , am sure they would. Five yrs is long enough for for me. Got enough add-ons to cover.
CharleyRay | | 12 posts since 2022My CD matures 11/19. I left a secure message asking if they would extend the maturity date to 3/1/23. No responce yet. I think I know the answer anyway.
Kaight | | 1,192 posts since 2011Wish maturing CD funds could just remain on deposit at PSECU. But their rates are very uncompetitive. Have a bit of time remaining until my CD there matures. Hope lightning strikes in the interim, which it might in light of upcoming Fed meeting next week. Will PSECU potentates "get religion"? We shall see. Perhaps massive withdrawals will clue them in. That sort of thing seems these days to be what it takes to "git 'er done".
Sylvia | | 389 posts since 2012I'm not optimistic. Their rates took a deep dive with COVID and didn't break 2% until a couple months ago. For example, according to rate charts on this site, the 5 year was sitting at 1.55% on 8/28, before leaping to 3.00% on 8/29. Movements have been more modest since then.
pgroove_fan | | 168 posts since 2019My 3 year CD was listed to mature on 10/27/22. It has just posted its final funds to my designated savings share at PSECU while it is still, just barely,10/26 Central time.
