Vanguard Offers Cash Plus Account

Could not post this under Deals section since it requires a bank or a CU but not a brokerage.

Vanguard is offering now an FDIC insured Cash Plus account. I was told insurance is up to 250k despite underlying funds being distributed to multiple "member" banks in their program.

Current rate is 3.5% APY.

Could be a convenient place to park some cash if you already have a Vanguard account.
