Rates Lowered At Pelican Credit Union

This is my first post and it isn't a question, but an update on 60 month Rate on a pending application I have submitted with Pelican Credit Union. I received notification today that the rate has changed, I believe it is now 4.50, but luckily my rate will be locked in on the rate at time of application- 4.97.

Thanks! I've been a lurker for a while. Rates are rollercoaster, however I decided to go ahead and jump in with this 4.97 CD. I closed 2 CD's opened this summer to take advantage of recent higher rates. The CD Breaker link is invaluable.

Same for me. Signed up for an account with Pelican and the 4 year IRA cd yesterday and got the message that they’re honoring yesterdays rate since it also dropped. They also say it might be more than 2 days before I hear anything.
