4.26 Apy Barksdale Federal Credit Union 4And 5 Year Rates

I looked on a website and I think it says for barksdale federal credit union, 4.25 apy for 4 and 5 year cds, with 180 day early withdrawal penalty. (I think, but check for yourself). When I called a few years ago they did not allow trust accounts. Also, for some reason they have a whole link about fraud. I have not tried to redeem a certificate from them, so I cannot speak to ease of doing that.

Does anyone have any experience with Barksdale Federal Credit union, and how was your experience please? I will make a decision next week. Thank you.

Right now (time being anyway...) it appears GTE and NASA CU are offering higher rates for similar time periods (among a few other offerings). Maybe keep an eye there?

I'm holding cash at 4%+ still awaiting some decent rates at the 4~ ish and 5~ ish year Jumbo CD lengths to fill my ladder. Then again in late summer I have another coming due that will need to "go long" as well. I really rather have just one CD coming due each CY.

Hoping that the 1st of the month (tomorrow) and again after the next Fed Reserve meeting (soon) we may see some upward ticking in longer CD rates? (I jumped on the Sallie Mae/Savebetter 5% 27 month CD offer to fill in a needed CY '25 maturation date, thus I'm still looking for a couple Jumbo CDs that have a CY' 26 and '27 maturation. (I've also got a mid-summer CY '23 and '24 Jumbo CDs that will mature this summer as well only at 2.7% - 3.03% APY but, I take the interest every 3~ months and move it to MBoI Money market paying in excess of 4% (and rising!) APY.

Where are the 5% longer term rates!?!
