You Want A FIXED APR CD Longer Than 18 Months With 5% APY Or Better...

It now appears the only TWO choices left are:

Sallie Mae Bank 27 mos (via Savebetter, so the interest will need to remain on deposit and compound for the term).

Credit Human 18-23 mos (Where being accepted as a member is "hit or miss").

Looking for a friend but I cannot find any other offers to end April?

Perhaps the new business days of May might (or not) bring some limited nationwide offer for longer term 5%+ APY CDs? I'm not sanguine that will happen...

May is Military Appreciation Month. I expect we’ll see a special or two from the military-related CU’s (e.g., Navy, Andrews) in the coming month.

CFG isn't longer than 18 mos :)...

funny how the "best CD rates" tab/column didn't pick up all of the above mentioned, which is why I asked! I'll forward the info to my friend with a caveat to watch for new rates early this week as many FIs change rates soon after 1st banking day of month. Not to mention again after a Fed meeting...
