Primis Bank - No Longer Able To Add External Account Via Trial Deposits Method

In the past, if user does not wish to provide login credential in order to Add an external account, user can simply enter any invalid bank name and that will return no search result. User can then click "Connect with account numbers" to link via Trial Deposits method.

Now, when there is no search result, the "Connect with account numbers" option is no longer shown.

Does anyone know another way to link via Trial Deposits method? If you intentionally provide an incorrect login/password of external bank, will Primis then give you option to link via Trial Deposits method or will Primis lock our online banking?

sorry I dont have an answer but another question. how did this Plaid system end up being used. Who in their right mind would give out their log-in info to set up external link. I sure wouldn't and don't. How did this plaid thing get going?
