Experience With EFCU Financial?

On the DA Blog some have written about favorable deposit account rates with EFCU. I can't get through to them on the phone. Does anyone have experience with EFCU and remember the application process?

- On their application page, the first thing they require is SSN and verification of identify, before asking about eligibility of what you're applying for. Uncomfortable.

- Looking at various blog posts, some claim a hard pull is required. True, or any obstacles to acceptance?

- Regarding eligibility, DA says membership with EFCU Financial Foundation or the Louisiana Wildlife Foundation is adequate, but I see no mention of that on EFCU's web page. Anyone know?
