I dont have a schwab account (yet). Soon will be forced into one.

I notice on schwab website it says:

"Current CD rates available through Schwab CD OneSource".

then they list CDs available up to 18 months.

Is that it?

They dont sell CDs longer than 18 months?

What am I missing?

Thanks

Schwab sells CD's 1 month to 10 years, potentially even a 20 year and 30 year. They list the new issue non callable CD's (Trade, CD's) by maturity and each maturity they provide the highest yielding %. You click on the yield link and a column of all available (new issue, non callable) list each, with coupon, coupon frequency, maturity date, quantity available. To get to see the new issue, callable ones, you have to go through the Bonds link, (Trade, Bonds) and then the words "recently issued" are actually the buyable new issues.
