All-In CU Problems -- Help Please -- Can You ACH Into All-In?

Has anyone successfully set up ACH from one of their other places into All-In? If so, how?

I recently joined All-In and have been trying to set up ACH from my hub bank (to ACH money INTO All-In), but according to my hub bank, All-In keeps rejecting the micro deposits.

Has anyone else here had success ACHing money INTO All-In?

If so, were you able to do it to your savings account, or must you have a checking?

The first time I tried, it was rejected because I used my Member # instead of my Account #. When I called All In, they told me to use my 9-digit Savings Acct number not the member number, and verified the number. I did so, but it was rejected yet again.

Problem isn't with my hub bank (have many others set up just fine.) Message says micro deposits rejected by All-In. And logging into All-In shows no trace of micro deposits.

The CSRs at All-In seem confused when I ask about ACH so I thought I'd ask here.

How can I send funds to All-In?

What do you all do?

I have their Routing # as: 262183749 (which indeed brings up "ALL IN FCU" at my hub bank) and then I used my 9 digit Savings Acct #. But it was still rejected. ??

update update update update

I guess the 3rd time's the charm because it did work this time, to just the All in Savings account. 1st time was my fault, not sure why it didn't work the 2nd time, but it did work the 3rd time. Thanks for everyone's help.

I've linked two different outside FIs to my savings account at All-In and have both pushed money in and pulled money out using those outside FIs. In fact, I just linked the second FI earlier this month. Both FIs were linked with trial deposits which showed up fine at All-In. The routing number you are using is correct and I just used my regular nine digit savings account number, not a longer ACH number like some FIs use. I know you said you verified the account number but if it's correct than I can't explain why you're having a problem.

Thanks. Yeah, I don't know why it's being rejected either. I'll try it for a 3rd time and see what happens in a couple days. I usually have no problems in linking a place with ACH so it's got me scratching my head. 1st time was my fault, but 2nd time should've worked. Maybe 3rd time will be the charm. At least it's good to know it SHOULD work with their Savings Acct.

And thanks too Moneymoves, for reminding me that they're shared branch. I suppose there's always that option too.

Similar to RickZ, I was able to use trial deposits and liked two FIs to my savings at All-In. I also tested adding money to my smart CD by transferring from savings without issue.

The savings account you get by default when you open a CD doesn’t allow linking for some reason. I had to fill out a paper EFT application with Fidelity investments to add it. I was then able to “pull” my monthly cd interest out with no issues after linking it.

@sams1985, I'm having the same issue not able to link to the All-In savings account from Fidelity. What "paper EFT application" did you fill out to add it to Fidelity? The Fidelity CSR said to fill out this Fidelity Bank Wire form which requires Medallion signature(s).

Link to form:

You can mail it in or drop it off to a Fidelity investments local branch near you. Make sure you attach a copy of an ALL IN CU statement showing the account number. You only need t complete section 1+2. Medallion signature at end is not required unless the ALL in CU account is NOT in your name.

Thank you! I have only Savings and Share certificate accounts, no checking. Thanks for the heads up on the ALL IN CU statement!! Fidelity says I can also upload the form back to them but I think to be safe I'll take it to a Fidelity investment branch.

Yes same, which is why i dont have any voided checks to attach at the end of section 2 and used the All In CU account statement instead. Once it gets added to Fidelity you can just pull money from Fidelity and it will get debited from the All In CU savings account without issue.

FYI for what it's worth, the fidelity representative at the branch says linkage issue usually occurs when the external FI is small/not well known and they are not on the national list.

I've had no problem pushing money into my savings account from another FI. I do not have a checking account.

I have not ACH funded, but have researched DA comments about ALL IN.
Here are some clues. Please post what actually works for yours.

When KEN posted about this CU and the ADD-ON CD, etc he stated:
Funding – ACH, wire ($20 fee), or shared branch transfer. CO-OP Shared Branch Participant

Sept 17 No problem linking accounts for external transfers and have used shared banking to deposit funds rather than a wire transfer to save the wire fee.

Sept 14 I opened an account including the CD to make add-on deposits and learned today that they will not initiate ACH in transactions from their web portal. The agent told me to use Zelle to make deposits

Mar 11 I wired funds to open a jumbo CD account, once received I was able to open the account quickly. Their operating policy requires customers to open a checking account with a minimum deposit of $25 to enable their outbound ACH external transfer option; inbound transfers sent from other financial institutions are unrestricted.

Mar 10 I applied for the 60 month 5% CD not the Jumbo. I chose this time to use PLAID for funding. All went well but there is a 50k limit on ACH funding of the non Jumbo CD. Logged in, and it showed the 2 accounts fully funded. Checked my ACH bank and it has yet to be hit with the withdrawal ACH.

Deplorable is correct. You need to open a checking account at ALLIN which will allow you to send and receive external transfers. I have three external accounts that are linked to ALLIN with no issues , Also I would suggest you call customer service as they are very helpful and will help you troubleshoot this issue.

I don't have a checking account at All-In and my external transfers when initiated from an outside institution work just fine with my savings account. You might need a checking account to make transfers which are initiated at All-In but I don't know since I've never tried to do transfers initiated at All-In. Seems like some kind of YMMV problem.
