HYSA That Allows Monthly Direct Credit Card Balance Debits?

I have high yield savings accounts at both Bread Savings and Bask Bank. My normal spending process is to put everything on my credit cards and have the entire balance paid off each month through a direct payment pulled my bank. It would be great to have those automatic balance debits come from my HYSA and keep as little money as possible in my checking account.

I tried setting up the account number and routing number for my HYSA at one of my banks but had the balance debit denied. When inquiring to the bank, I was told that credit card ACH withdrawals were not guaranteed and might get denied.

Are there known HYSA banks with good interest rates that allow you to have your credit card pull the balance each month?

Most savings account still enforce Reg D. thereby limiting withdrawals to 6 per month. I use a high yield checking account (HYCA) to do what you seek. Look at the Primis Bank checking.Their HYCA is paying 5.16% APY and you can pay your CC using that account. I also have my CC draw from my HYCA to pay off the balance each month in full, however I do not let them automatically draw each month. When I get the statement I review it, then I schedule the full balance payment to draw on the due date.
