Some online banks give you time to fund a CD after it's opened if you don't wish to do an electroic transfer (or just need a bit more time until your funds will be available) such as SallieMae (10 calendar days to keep rate lock), Bask (10 business days), Nasa (10 calendar days), etc.
What about Brilliant Bank?
When I called, I was told one can send a check and would have a certain amount of time after opening it online to fund it, but the agent couldn't tell me the actual number of days.
Does anyone know how many days Brilliant Bank gives to fund a CD after you've opened it up (unfunded) online to lock in the rate?
