nvm apparently Per the IRS, the due date to make 1099 forms available to clients is February 15 (or the next business day). Broker-dealers can request a 30-day extension of time when they have reason to believe they will not have all the information needed in time to produce an accurate form.

Standard 2/15 for all brokers especially if you have trade info. Interest and dividends only might see it by 1/31. But depends upon their systems processing cycles.

I called them yesterday to get mine mailed out. It was posted to my account.  Several of my FI’s stopped mailing them out so called them all up yesterday.

Hi Group. Well, I just got a text from Fidelity saying my 1099 was available online. I checked online and it was not there. Anybody else?

When I go to Fidelity online taxes it says they will begin posting them Feb. 8. I hope so. My tax appointment is Feb. 20.

I got my 1099 form Fidelity a week ago but I only have money market/treasury income from them, no stocks or ETFs.

I just checked online again. My tax area says that they are waiting for information from my money market account and from my index fund. There is a little red "why", and I tapped it to get this explanation.

Myself, I just finished my taxes without my fidelity statement, both fed and state, since I am just expecting a few bucks in dividends and interest. I am having my taxes done by someone but always like to do a run through projection myself. Once my tax preparer at HR block was off by 20K not in my favor. So I would not feel good giving my taxes to someone else unless I pretty doggone well knew what the end result should be. Last year I used the turbotax for the first time. It cost almost 300, and it was just so so hard for me to get through the software myself. This year I did my projection by printing out the 1040 form and staring at last year's turbo tax completed form on which I had made handwritten notes. I did the same with my state. I hope this jibber jabber might encourage someone else out there to do a projection before giving it to someone to do.

My taxes are weird because I have no job, no wife, no kids, no house, no business. Just inheritance money earning dividends and interest.

My mailed 1099s are still trickling in - yesterday Northern Bank Direct, the day before Bank Five Connect... In just the ones I've received so far, I've seen at least 3 that should probably be closed.

Fidelity 1099 have been out for 10 days. The ones I am missing is SoFi. That seems very late. Thought all supposed to be completed by the 31st
