Raisin is a company that purchases cds for you at better rates . I check in out but it does not seem to be beneficiol to me

One interesting fact is that the 1099 from Raisin was from Lewis and Clark bank and not the Bank that the 2 CDs are deposited at. Sallie Mae bank.

I have 2 CDs with them and no problems. They are both maturing next month and I plan on closing them.. In the past, they had some great rates. I don't find their rates so great anymore. I got bonuses for opening these CDs. Since they are no longer leaders,I would look elsewhere.

Agreed - look elsewhere for better rates. Still keeping my account though.

I have one CD with them, matures this weekend and I plan to close and move elsewhere. When I opened it, I got cold feet but couldn't cancel. Ended up being problem free.

I have a couple CDs maturing in three months and hopefully it will be a good experience. To keep me as a customer I would be comfortable to have each month a statement from the backend bank. I had it with CD Online Bank.

Also, it would be great to reverse a trend from receiving an email with a link to login to my own account to see a statement to actually receiving an email with the statement just to have my own records.
